Mekemeke and whare kori tinana
Our rōpū mekemeke and whare kori tinana are led by our resident boxfit coach, and these rōpū trainings are about more than just sweating.

Riwai’s rōpū combines whanaungatanga, fun and fitness. Running on a term by term basis, the rōpū meet at our suburban studio where you will learn the boxing basics, receive Riwai’s favourite rewards (don’t worry, you can give them to him too!) and meet amazing like-minded people.

Kaukau | eke pahihara | oma | hīkoi | Piki Ake
As an urban tribe it is important that we encourage activities for whānau to be outside and connecting to the local whenua. Traditionally our tipuna did not seek to possess anything, it was more important to belong. This sense of belonging is a belief that one was born out of the land and implies that there is a relationship between people and land. All of our rōpū encourage everyone from pēpī to kaumātua to explore and experience our land, sea and air during activity.

Even if you aren’t looking at participating in an event, these rōpū are open to you to learn, grow and enjoy.

Tauwhāinga-toru | Triathlon Training

Whether you are a beginner, novice or keen to do an IronMāori quarter triathlon, we can support you. Our training and preparation rōpū are led by our lead coach Cate. She has been training our athletes for over a decade, both physically and mentally and knows her jam. Her style includes collaboration to ensure the whānau kete is as full as the whānau wants it to be. Bringing in specialists in their respective fields also means we are creating a wider support network for the whānau.
